Given some images I've seen here, this is probably the worst place to ask,

But which is the best way to run offline Splitscreen Doom 1 & 2 multiplayer on a single PC?

A friend and I are going to be staying at a hotel and I'll be bringing my laptop. We have been talking about playing Doom Co-op and seeing if there's a way to run it splitscreen on one PC.

I understand there are a series of source ports which enable Splitscreen, but can I get info on which one is the most stable/least buggy or has the least issues?
