I have zero nostalgia for any Final Fantasy game since I never played them.
I became very opposed to them after learning that basically everything I hate about modern jRPG comes from FF 7 and onwards, but I've still never gave them a chance (I'm a DQ kind of guy).

Are these games worth playing nowadays, with all the derivatives around?
