I'm not animator so the smoke effects look horrible, but here's the more or less complete barrel replacements for my still unnamed mod.

Pic related is the final frame of the barrel to show a happy little accident that came from using Mike12's demontech rifle sprites for the smoke. There's a barely visible (because I've downscaled it so much) face in the smoke. I find it oddly fitting.
