/vr/ - Retro Games

I've been playing DonPachi recently and still haven't managed to clear the first loop of it, but I've been wondering: does anybody actually choose this piece of shit green ship? It has less firepower than the red ship, and is the same speed as the blue ship but its shot doesn't cover anywhere near the same amount of space on the screen. I seriously don't see any upside to picking this one at all.
