The funniest thing about this fucking thread is that I never knew Parappa 1 to be a vehemently defended fanboy-tier game, just an innocuous but charming diversion with cute characters and catchy songs. Seeing some late 20-something work through his cognitive dissonance in realtime over wasting his youth on oversized Simon machines for people with chains through their jeans, treating Parappa like it kicked their dog and shoved their hamster up his ass all while talking about playing Beatmania like it was being a roady for the Grateful Dead or something, all to justify being so damn MAD at a game people beat in one afternoon when they were 8... It's hysterical. Funniest shit I've ever seen on this board or maybe this whole site, at least in a good while.
