wow, actually started playing 2 yesterday.
It's just really unique, one of those gems that could only come out of that weird experimental 3D era of PS1. Something just really nice not just fighting to save the day but also just walk around the towns and talk to people as well. It was fucking playing in a living anime world and some of those designs are spectacular
Weirdly, I also love how you move and jump in that game. It has a satisfying weight to it but not feel clunky. Yeah it had weird tank controls but the right analogue was a luxury that didn't exist until 2 and again, it was the age they were figuring stuff out
