This so fucking hard. The game was billed as a love story, but the way the whole thing unfolded between Squall and Rinoa was retarded and seemed really awkward and forced. On the other hand, I thought Laguna's love subplot was well done in comparison. He didn't get the girl he was in love with, had a kid with another woman, and then his son falls in love with the daughter of the woman he originally loved. Shit's like shakespeare. Fuck man, I wish FFVIII had been about Laguna instead.
