No, as I kid I played Sonic 1 where the up button was actually useful so it wasn't hard to figure it out. Even if you somehow missed the gimmick before, you will eventually stop jumping and try something else. In a 1 button game, it shouldn't take you more than 10 fucking minutes to figure it out.

This shit on the other hand. I had to loop it up as an adult because it just doesn't make any sense, especially after the other Sonic games makes you shit your pants at the idea of getting crushed.

CD is still the best game
