get a bunch of similarly nostalgic people to roleplay with and talk through old forums and other abandoned means of communicati
ignore anything that came after a set date. set your clocks back. if you all keep it up you might actually start to believe it.

on my home network, i have it set up so that by inputting a cap date into a terminal- and redirect requests are relayed to internet archive, and get the latest archive of that page for that date.

that way i can pretend its still 2004 and the world is good

I love old hardware. I own SGI computers from the 90's, 3x sgi o2's and 2x octane2s and a bunch of old electronics. born in 1980 and love old hardware and anything retro gaming because I grew up with it. If you had $100 laying around somewhere and wanted to buy a console for nostalgia reasons which would it be?

My choices are N64 with majoras mask my favorite game, Sega Saturn, SEGACD+SEGA GENESIS combo or 3DO, which one of these do you think will become more collectible and raise in price in the future? So far any investment I have made in gaming, like buying games has turned up profit for me, so really which of these controls will be harder to obtain in the future?

What are some red flags that let you know when a gamer or reviewer has nostalgia goggles on?

>MFW I CAN STILL SMELL THE INK ON THE PAGES.

Never owned a PS1-- convinced my dad to get a Sega Saturn instead.

... I wasn't entirely disappointed by the decision

What /vr/ game gives you the most personally sentimental feeling of nostalgia?

HELP

Some guy used to post pictures of a PC CRT and he was using some weird resolution, something like 3200 x 480, and the most important part, he was using a combination of shaders that displayed the image just like a 240p would, and it looked pretty good, used to post pictures of the Red Arremer from G&G

Does anyone know which shaders and which resolution?
I know it just wasn't the interlace shader and even then idk how the fuck do you make interlace work in combination with the pixellate shader to display the image correctly , for some reason if setting both shader passes on Retroarch only pixellate works
