Question, /vr/, if you homebrew an OG Xbox, can you force PAL games to run in 480p (progressive scan) @ 60 FPS over Y'PbPr as if they were NTSC builds?

I heard from somewhere that even PAL OG Xbox executables really support VGA 60Hz on the inside, & that somehow softmods or BIOS switching can bruteforce this..

Is it really the strongest/most powerful retro console?

I've been tempted to snag an OG Xbox since they've been going for cheap and some games seem more HD friendly than the PS2, but I'm just drawing a blank on what games to even get for it. Some run at better resolutions like Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbone, some have been ported over like Halo, and there's quite a bit of PC multiplats that probably dont run well like Half Life 2 or Morrowind. Are there any more neat gems for it besides JSRF?

I've got an original Xbox with a modchip. What are the go to / must have games for this system? I already have panzer dragoon, Forza, test drive Eve of destruction, Halo 1 and 2 and blood wake. What am i missing?

Whenever people talk about 5th gen consoles, the two most popular are N64 and Playstation. Ive even heard the sega saturn talked about more than the original xbox. Was the console really forgettable or bad or something? Pretty strange, considering the xbox 360 was so popular in the 2000s and rival the playstation III.
