the gameplay isn't bad either way, but even if it was, this argument could be applied to literally all 4 games, because they all play almost exactly the same. how exactly is the gameplay in 2 or 3 different? because as someone who's actually played all the games in the series (unlike you), I have never once noticed any discernable difference in mechanics. and Silent Hill isn't about "SHOOTING MONSTERS AND STUFF WOW" retard, it's not fucking Contra, it's about the atmosphere and puzzles.
