I'm hardly the most seasoned guy when it comes to playing fan maps, but would anyone agree with the statement:

I was browsing Japanese fanart of New Vegas yesterday and all I could think about was how much shit in New Vegas has background taken from Fallout 1 and 2 and Van Buren. Even relatively obscure shit like Elijah referring to the Ciphers from VB or Ethel Phebus mentioning the Stockmen's Association from 2.
Most western Fallout fans will never understand all these references and ties to Fallout 1 and 2, but Japanese fans are pretty much guaranteed to NEVER play the original Fallout games.
I dunno, it disgusted me. I got the same feeling when I saw the Vault Boy mii in Smash Bros.
