The exact moment in history Nintendo went from industry leader of the gaming medium and creating it's biggest icons and classics on premier hardware with a rich and varied selection of quality games from a myriad of developers, to mostly just making limited in scope shovelware, party and proto mobile phone games on gimmick-laden overpriced shoddy hardware with little 3rd-party support that continues to this day.

It was the console that created the dichotomy of "casual" and "gamer", and cemented Nintendo to the backseat of the industry.

A cursed symbol of disappointment and mediocrity.
