I liked the collage that was posted but I often hate the unnecessary emphasis of a lot of similar ones.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe Cacoposting is a self defense mechinism, a coping mechanism from deep within our minds? What if the reason we find cacodemons so silly and charming is because we purposely obfuscate it to save ourselves?
Think about a Caco with two eyes. I won't post him, in an attempt to spare your soul. The visage you see invokes a similar discomfort, a similar fear to the likes of a Sonic character with their mono-eye bridge removed. It feels like you're staring into the impossible, gazing at the forbidden knowledge.
Maybe with each post we're calling out to others for help, or maybe the demon is actually hopping from psyche to psyche, using its own vision as a way of weakening its prey.

Yeah, if you didn't like the premise or the core gameplay of Redneck Rampage at all then the expansion pack is unlikely to change your mind.

I liked the base game for it being a nice little build engine shooter with redneck / deep south aesthetic but the level design had some serious problems at times, RRRR does what the base game did with a better flow of the levels and much less "you better have a guide for this shit" moments.

His argument for the font thing was because the update would make it so fonts would display uniformly in all resolutions or something like that. It in itself was reasonable, but his response of "if it breaks in a mod, the mod was done wrong" was what pissed a lot of people off. Thats kinda the running theme of his changes to me: a lot of them are well intended, but completely ignore a lot of legacy scenarios. Sometimes even just getting old or discontinued mods to work in current versions can be an issue in itself, and if they're not in active development anymore, you can't exactly expect the authors to fix them to comply with the current builds.

Like I said, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would defend every change he does to the engine (or even just his reasons for them) but if he rolls back bad changes due to feedback, then credit where credit is due.
