PC games blended through a clean VGA signal, because the graphics were designed for the monitor's dot pitch. Play this on a 640 x 480 CRT and you won't see any dithering patterns.

Sonic 2 always seemed vastly inferior to Super Mario World. It has only ten levels, and no battery save. So I played Commander Keen instead.

No one said anything about additional arbitrary rules. The game gives many extra lives and continues, on top of the power ring training wheels, so it's easy. Play a real platformer.

Please try this one, with Sound Blaster emulation. It's a solid platformer.

I played this much more than everything on my Sega combined.

Some DOS shit. Didn't get a Sega until later, and that wasn't comfy like the SNES I played with at daycare or my dad's wife's son's bedroom.

This is a console forum, and most of you were born after 1995, so you haven't played this basic bitch game. The dithering patterns are not visible on a period shadow mask CRT. I believe it was 640x480 maximum.
