Like I said, the XBR is exactly what I'm aiming for. I saw one at Salvation Army last month and would have picked it up, but I didn't have the $70 they were asking( or even $20 for that matter)

Getting one for under $50 would be optimal.

Modding it is the exact reason I picked it up. Both of the cinder blocks I currently have either the SNS or the SHVC(I haven't actually checked, but neither are in the serial range of the 1CHIP).

PVMs can get weird geometry issues on sizes over 24in or so.

As someone earlier in the thread said, 20-22in is about as large as you want to go.

As for what size, it's really all up to what fits your setup.
