What went right?

I finished this and was surprised how tight and challenging the gameplay was, but almost never unfair.

Being able to theoretically softlock yourself if you're not careful with items added an additional dread and seriousness to the entire experience. Literally every bullet counts. That is fucking brilliant.

Having that little item space turned the entire mansion into a puzzle.

It is really a master piece.
