And, if were are counting CRTs too like >>7951390, I also have an Ikegami TM20-80r master monitor. Bought it in mint condition for around $100 on ebay (shipped!) right before crt madness took off after I saw a Youtube review and was impressed with the build (solid cast metal monitor bezel, jog wheel tray).

Crazy to see how much they are now.

Wow, and that's a pretty basic model Ikegami at that. I have pretty much the highest end SD Ikegami, the TM20-80R, that I bought on ebay about a decade ago for a bit over $100 (with shipping!) in mint shape.

Don't forget some very nice professional master monitors as well. Rare though, I have this model.

Actually, Ikegami monitors easily match or exceed the quality of a Sony. Sonys are an over-hyped meme-good enough, but not the only thing out there. The Ikegami range have a solid fucking chunk of metal as a CRT bezel and the use of a traditional round CRT instead of a Trinitron can be seen as offering a more authentic experience.

Ikegami monitors are the best kept secret. Only a fool would buy that new one-they are fairly rare compared to Sonys but still cheap when they show up.
