>he thought it was cool when I transformed into Alkaiser.

Shit nigga, that kid got some taste, he deserved that candy.
SaGa games are underrated because they're hard to get into, most of them require some serious dedication, especially RomaSaGa II and Unlimited, but once you understand what you're doing they're amazing.
They're even more Wrpg than most Wrpgs out there.

Then again, The Last Remnant is a spiritual successor to SaGa and it had a very cold reception in the west outside of a few people so I wonder whether the series will ever be appreciated.

A shame since it's one of the few Jrpgs that isn't a press X to win or mash buttons furiously to start a combo macro shitfest.

As far as I know there was some pottery with Red on it but I didn't see any Alkaiser stuff, maybe Itoken played the theme during one of the concerts but it was mainly about Romancing SaGa rather than the other games, even the website only had RomaSaGa cameos.

I think you can find something on Ebay since scalpers went crazy with that stuff.
After all most of them were all unique handmade pieces of art done by some Saga prefecture traditional potters and handpainted by Tomomi Kobayashi, if you're a collectionist they're worth quite a lot, not to menton the inherent artistic value.
There were even some lovely sake sets that had printed sprites form the games.
