I don't want to make a thread about it since GCN isn't considered retro. But I know everyone has GCNs hooked up and /v/ won't know shit. Do you hook them into CRTS? Component cables are impossible to get ahold of, so off the bat it's composite. But then apparently flat CRTS (or HD crts?) are the only CRTS that can do 480p anyway. A lot of games are so beautiful on it I don't even know if CRTs do it justice.

I have a Wii U I can use for HD widescreen gamecube games, a U is still built of the wii which is built off GCN so I guess it isn't even emulation, but no clue if there is input lag (or if there is, how minuscule it is). I have seen weird HDMI modded gamecubes on ebay if anyone can tell me what the deal is with those.

The dreamcast is kind of in the same boat, I do VGA to HDMI and it looks so good, but the only way to achieve that is to have some a really odd monitor or screen that probably isn't even a CRT. So do people typically go for scart or VGA on whatever HD TV somehow?

TL;DR: What the fuck do people do for gamecube video quality? What TV do you use and what inputs?

Gamecube thread cuz I don't see one anywhere for some reason. Do you still have the console or do you emulate? Also what games did you enjoy or still enjoy playing? Let's talk about how great this console was/is.
