IMO it's a good game even if it isn't a "real" sequel to Metal Gear as Kojima wasn't anyway involved in it's development.

To this day I'm impressed how much content people managed to create from just a couple sentences from the FMV cutscenes.

Anyway more related to the thread is it just me or was Snake's Revenge generally seen as a good game until Metal Gear Solid came out and afterwards it was seen as shit because it wasn't a "true" Metal Gear game and because Kojima wasn't involved with it?
