Hook it up to whatever display you have and see if you're satisfied with the result otherwise get your hands on a free/cheap CRT. These consoles were literally made for CRTs.

How does progressive scan mode work for retards?

What SNES games can I play with only a D-pad and 4 buttons? I already went trough Mario, Zelda and the DCK games once again. Now help my memory: Can I beat starfox without rolling right or left? Super Metroid def. doesn't work without shooting up and down diagonally.
