A google search for the CT3980 did lead to a link saying it was OPL3, but not an authentic Yamaha chip. I guess I will have to put it into the 486 to see if it sounds right. I can hear the song in my head already, so if it is off I think I will know. Thanks, you did save me from attempting to see what the fuss is about these wavetable addon boards.

That's how much I love the PM2 game, if I had he funds I would get the MIDI devices just to groove to the game.

I think there may be English patches out there, but I'm not too keen on the scene. I have the SNES 1 and PS2's 5, but I've not tried them yet. Only ones I've played are 1-3, and I favor 2 probably because I played it the most.

Thanks! I had no idea I'd run into such issues with a MT-32, at this time it is a faraway dream as they have grown expensive, but I always wondered about them since they were in so many config options in the old DOS games I used to play.

It is. On a old Princess Maker 2 thread, someone asked what was inside so I took that pic. It is on the same table as the Mercurious Pretty and Wonder Project J2 images above. Here, I took a new pic here with 5, but coupled with the Justice Gakuen games where you can make your own character going through their school days (just to make sure it is /vr/).
