But in 2001, the release of Super Mario Advance recolored all the existing Super Mario USA art of her it had to give her a much brighter canary yellow hair color. The ingame sprite likewise was all yellow for her hair. This continued to 2002's Super Mario Sunshine, which had her hair so bright it was almost highlighter yellow, and the first game Peach's "bimbo" personality was apparent to people. She had a good run, but the Cube era was where she got ruined.
