Some translation and grammar errors can be distracting. Also

Very good characters though, great battle graphics (for the time), and some decent content like:

-fishing
-building your own town
-hunting
-shamans

Also:
-Best nina (in an angelic sex goddess kind of way)
-A Katt is fine too
-The Lamia returns as a hidden party member
