What are your feelings on this particular X game?

>crappy games that nobody wanted to play in the 90's are the rarest games and command the highest prices

i have a mmx3 cartridge that takes like 7 tries to start up properly. is it safe to sell this on ebay if i explain this clearly or is there still a good chance someone will take advantage of the situation and claim foul? i don't want to sully my ebay score.

I beat Mega Man X3 yesterday. I loved it. It's a challenging, yet an incredibly fair Mega Man game with basically no RNG. All the bosses stick to strict patterns that are easy enough to learn, but if you slip up at all you get punished really damn hard. A lot of bosses have attacks that can hurt you for upwards of 60% of your health bar in a single attack, so you really have to dodge attacks.

The downsides of the game, I'm not sure if it's just the emulator I was using (Snes9x build from last year) or if it was in the original game, but the game has really bad framerate lag during a lot of the game (even more than in X1 and X2), the music gets horribly crackly at times, and during phase1 of the final Sigma fight (when he has the shield) I experienced occasional input drops. I would be pressing fire and nothing would happen. On repeated attempts of the final fight, I learned to just tap the button to ensure I actually shot.

Are the Saturn, PS1 versions or the PS2/Gamecube collection versions of X3 any better? Are those mentioned downsides an issue there?

Of X1, X2, and X3, despite the aforementioned issues I was having, I think X3 is the best one.
