/vr/ - Retro Games

So after searching just about everywhere in my area within a reasonable distance, I only ended up finding one CRT. It was a massive Panasonic that worked but everything looks godawful on it and I can't even fiddle with the display because I don't have a remote.
I know it's dumb but I've got a lot of money to burn so I decided to cut my losses and buy a Toshiba VCR combo (I know I know, I just have a soft spot for the combos and I sorta collect VHS tapes as well) from a local listing off of ebay and when it got here it just wouldn't turn on at all. The seller was really cool and said he'd find another TV and deliver it to me personally free of charge, but I'm wondering if you guys know of any way I could fix it?
