Yeah this is neat but it doesn't look good. Raytracing doesn't HAVE to look like this if you're selective about what does and doesn't reflect so it makes visual sense; I hate to use such a non-retro comparison (then again it's something as new as real-time raytracing) but compare with Fortnite's attempt, where the only things that reflect are naturally reflective materials like metal, glass, water et al. It fits despite the game not being made for it because the time was taken to specify how much reflection there is in each texture based on what makes sense.
