this game doesn't age, it's still just as fun as when i bought it new. colorful, great story and characters, great battle system, variety and awesome music. classic. top 5 all time rpg games

Literally why would anyone play this over the first game?

Here, let me tell you something about this game if you're planning on playing it.

There are these items called Mythril. You need them to make the ultimate weapons for each character. In order to make those weapons you need to give them to a blacksmith. And then exit the screen and come back to pick up your weapon. Here's the catch: The blacksmith gives you a weapon at random. There's about a 4% chance of getting the weapon you want, and a 96% chance of getting a stupid weapon that you don't want. That means you just wasted a precious mythril.

It takes about 1-2 hours of reloading to get the weapon you want. PER CHARACTER. Obviously you can use save states to speed up the process... but what if you're playing on an actual console?

Seriously, fuck this game. Don't bother with it. Just play the first game.

This game is literally unplayable.

So my wife's son and I popped this in on a whim and are enjoying the hell out of it. Any thoughts on this series? Is this the best one?
