I was at the sewer, Mario had a hammer. I'm assuming that's still the very beginning.
For some reason I wanted to like this game but enough is enough, I'm getting rid of it. It's very frustrating that apparently I'm the only person that thinks it's way too hard.

What are some good quality-of-life romhacks?
I'm currently playing the one for Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 that removes the annoying voices and it's great.

To me, a 20" is worth about $300 locally. They're reliable equipment if they're in decent shape. They can also be resold again later.
The good models have two RGB/Component inputs.

what they will do in a few more years is slap a LCD inside a big empty plastic box and call it, "Retro Gaming TV RGB !!!!" And it'll include the same shaders that are already available and most likely won't even be optimised for input lag.

What are some games that are better with save states? Especially for a first time playthrough.
The best examples I can think of are Super Ghouls N Ghosts and Megaman games. And Battletoads.
