is that with every input you try?

I bought a small 13 inch Trinitron (KV 13FS100) and it also had a similar problem, but it was only really noticeable when I first turned it on and the tube was warming up. or if I put any kind of moiré pattern on.

you could use the reverse vacuum method, almost like a super compressed air. that would probably help of it. but make sure you have something to keep the fans from spinning during that process (it's bad for the bearings I hear)

that would be awesome, would definitely like to see that. some people do teardowns without any kind of documentation. there's probably guide out there for that ( think I saw something like that on "tested")
