Oh cool, a playstation thread! PS was my childhood console (I'm 24, no bully) so I have a lot of memories. Sony were pretty cool with the playstation in the UK, what with Net Yaroze and all.

Generally speaking, pal games run at 50hz and ntsc runs at 60hz. Also, some games were only released in PAL, but far more were exclusive to NTSC. Game covers are different too. G-Darius is sexy.
If you're going to be playing them, get NTSC games.
