It feels overly scripted. The AI definitely pales in comparison to its contemporaries like Halo 1 and 2, and the enemies. Even the controversial Doom 3 has more aggressive and intimidating enemies.

Sorry, I can't hear you over the fact I just grabbed a cacodemon's lightning ball mid-air, threw it at a revenant, then threw the revenants rocket at the cacodemon and killed them both. HL2 has nothing on this.
