First game is a fuckin masterpiece.

>dat music
>dat enemy design
>dat platforming
>dat combat
>dem animations
>dat banter and monologues

now people who give the combat shit are fags, bitchin about how combat took too long

rather than be a generic hack n slash affair, this game required u to pin opponents to the ground with the dagger of time, otherwise they would keep coming back.

And the game rewarded you with plenty of other ways to kill them too.

Warrior Within could've been great if the bosses weren't so fuckin fustrating. And having the entire castle semi-open world, led to some really annoying back-tracking. And the combat really suffered because of the "create-your-own combo" nonsense. Where is boiled down to doing the same button combination, because it was the fastest way to kill enemies. No reason, to experiment or use different moves, just do the one that immediately decapitates them and move on. Also the guy who made Dahaka's soundtrack Godsmack's "I Stand Alone" should be lynched.

The Two Thrones was Ubisoft literally throwing every "current" trend at the series.

>Jak 2, Prime 2: Echoes, Sonic Adventure 2, give the prince a Evil/Dark version
>Burnout 3 was fuckin huge so lets add chariot racing segments with crashes
>Ubisoft's other big franchise was Splinter Cell, so lets do stealth kills
