Hi /vr/

Many of the games we know and love go through remakes and ports with bonus content and so on.

What I want to know what, from your experience, is the best version of a game in your opinion? Did a certain port or remake take a good game and make it better or worse?

I'll start,
Castlevania SOTN
> PS1 VS Saturn VS PSP (port found on Castlevania X UMD)
- If you have a PSP then go for this version as it is basically a PS1 port with some of the extra content from Saturn. I have read issues with crashing but that has never happened to me.

This content includes fighting Maria and using her as a playable character. If not then go for PS1 version, the Saturn version doesn't live up to the other two, despite the additional content of two small areas and items. These issues are numerous and nonsensical considering the Saturn had more than enough to make this game god tier version.

PSP followed by PSX wins. Saturn version blows.
