I mean, most games reached 100% perfect emulation compatibility with epsxe in the mid 2000s. Here is the compatibility list from 2004: https://www.ngemu.com/threads/compatibility-list-for-epsxe-1-6-0.49711/
Latest version of epsxe for PC was released in 2016 so that list is over a decade old and compatibility has improved even more since then. And once a game runs with perfect emulation, there isn't any room for further improvement. It's not like the games themselves are getting any better.
