>BloodCM
Pic related. Do not listen to this faggot, avoid BloodCM at all costs. If you truly can't stand DOSbox, use BloodGDX instead.

Different anon here, I know that the opera house is apparently beloved, but it was actually the mission in Thief 1 that made me stop and realize how comparatively primitive the mapping is compared to Thief 2. The basement looks like the unfinished draft of a level--oversized boxy rooms and corridors, a lot of them with only 1 or 2 textures, as if they were just placeholders. Raoul is of course charming, but that level feels so slapped together once you're inside.

Playing SNES Harvest Moon was a tipping point for me. I realized that games with repetitive tasks like that, that feel like they're something you play as a big time-waster, simply aren't for me.

I remember sitting inside one summer, as a kid, harvesting corn over and over and being really bored, just wanting it to be over. Then I realized I was wasting my real-life summer by doing virtual chores in a virtual summer in the game. I turned it off and went outside to play in the woods. I stopped playing JRPGs after that, too.

Step 1: Don't play in Polymer, or at least turn off the shitty light sources. But that's just me being grumpy.

I can't tell if you're serious or if these are "lol Duke sucks" clips, but if you are serious, popping out around corners is a good way to take down Duke enemies without getting hurt.
