Nintendo never bother with the Disk System and just used mappers and battery back up like in the North America and Europe as the Disk System was already obsolete with in 6 months after it came out; What changes?
>Reminder that the Super NES started development immediately after Super Mario Bros was finished, this is just Nintendo never bothering with a stop gap like the Disk System.
>Picks up Hudson's 16-Bit hardware instead of NEC for a 1987 release, allowing the Super NES to bake in the oven for a few more years (1992) so it can be a 32-Bit system.
