Vectrex: The most underrated retro video game console. And it has aged much better than Atari 2600 and despite having monochrome graphics the vector-style graphics and its controllers gave you a much better arcade experience to home than Atari 2600 (with the Atari 2600 joystick being so stiffy). You didn't even need to connect the console to a TV since it had its own screen. Furthermore it had light pen for drawing directly to the console's screen way before Nintendo DS.

Was there even any good games on this thing or is just a meme console?

Do these things really go for like $600 now? I got mine buy it now for $300 about 5 or 6 years ago.

Recently picked up a vectrex in full working order! The only downside is the CRT has come loose out of its frame, thinking about opening into up to try and sort that out, but am worried about CRT discharge. Any help/advice on how to not electrocute myself? Ever played any Vectrex games? General thoughts and opinions on the console ?

Just picked up Anim-Action and Art Master but I don't have a light pen? Do any of you guys like pissing away money?
