please help me understand how these signals move better

I've got a saturn coming in 3 weeks from japan, and it's coming with the ol redwhiteyellow cables. From what I understand, scart is better than those, and I've got a an adapter for those kind of cables so that i can insert them into my scart-capable Trinitron

Does that mean i'm actually getting a poorer quality by using an adapter, than just buying a separate scart cable from somewhere like this website?
