The GameGear doesn't have a lot of exclusives that you wouldn't also find on the Master System in the UK, or something. In North America, Sega killed the Master System in 1991, because the Genesis was hitting its stride. But the Game Gear replaced the Master System as SOA's 8bit machine. Which lead to a lot GG and Master System cross releases. Everytime I think the GameGear game that looks exclusive, I have to double check and see if it wasn't also ported to the Master System, or has a SMS port by TecToy.

Oddly I think Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on the GameGear is pretty good. Based on the TV show license, but the game plays like a belt scroller and fighting game hybrid. Fight off waves of putties, fight a boss 1vs 1. The GameGear game makes really good use of the GameGears extended colour pallet too. I really do prefer the look of GameGear games (cropped screen aside) over the SMS versions, due to the colour enhancement.

The system was a product of its time, and had a lot of licensed games. Just like the GameBoy.
