I'm not talking about getting your pixels scaled properly, im talking about dithering. If you're not running it at native resolution then dithering will be visible on a CRT
For the record the main advantage of a CRT is in fact its sheer sloppiness (which was exploited in retro games for special effects like this)

why is this contradictory? the only reason to get a CRT is because of colour blending. You can enjoy that with a wireless controller
nothing about pic related hinges on wired controllers
