This game is perfect. What makes it so good, of course, are that the core mechanics are simply fun. It is wildly fun to run circles around enemies, or to set traps, or to blow them up with massive fireballs. It is a great length where you can either beat it in a day, or do all the content and have it last you several. You can custom build a party, or you can play solo. You can beat it ironman, and the game provides all the items and spells you require to complete this task with a little skill. You can use several different strategies to approach enemy encounters and almost all are fun and effective. In terms of variety, replayability, and fun, other RPGs don't even come close. The graphics and music are nice, too.
