There are certain circles that hate emulation.

Moralgfags hate it because dem roms ate illegal

Corporations hate it because their intellectual property and they may want to re-release someday

Elitist collectors hate it because playing on actual hardware makes them feel superior.x

However

Anon fucking emulates - when convenient. Maybe to stretch our dollars or just to save time or be more portable. Anon collects too, when possible. We know the real deal will always be the real deal - but anybody who doesn't sample first through emulation is a goofus.
