This, I even played it on UV and I gotta say it's probably one of the best map packs I've played in years.

People are just pissed off because it's not a slaughterwad. Zdoom and it's fucking community has poisoned Doom and has made everyone think that the game should be about getting the BFG and taking on every mapper and their mother's take on nuts.wad. So when a wad that punishes you for not paying attention and rationing your ammo comes out, they throw a shitfit because it's not like 90% of the other maps made in the last 25 years.

I hate defending romero but holy shit it's hard not to when "why aren't there enough rockets to kill all the monsters :(" shitters pour out of the woodwork at something remotely challenging
