I barely play FPS games but I'm in the mood for some
just played the demo for Zortch which isn't retro, but it made me think; do most games in the genre just use mouse scrolling and/or the 1-0 keys for weapon switching?
I just find it pretty unintuitive, is all

nah, even when I was much younger me and my two brothers all knew that it was worse
the campaign is good, but that's about it. you can tell that EA messed with it too much
plus the game's tone goes too far into goofball territory, whereas the original walks a fine line between serious and slapstick
soundtrack in FP is also a noticeable downgrade, which is criminal considering how good 2's is
