I'm the oposite, I love Nemesis. RE3 shares my all time favorite ps1 game with MGS, I play through it every few years. All the diffenrent scenarios you can trigger helps alot too.

Give it a replay on hard, it's quite challanging if you've only played it once on easy.
I never learned the dodge move, I find it silly on hard anyway so try to avoid that aswell.

Personally I felt RE2 was very sub par and think the series should have been just 1 and 3, honestly I'll never understand what everybody loved so much about 2.

I replayed RE2 a few years ago for the first time since 1998 or 99 thinking I just had forgotten much of it, but it was more dissapointing then when I was a kid. Story on both carracters was weak, the whole underground complex and g-virus shit feel waaay too grand and over the top and I didn't die fucking once on any of the carracters.

The atmosphere and gameplay I thought was pretty good in CV, a decent challanging game too.
Story and dialog is fucking ridiculous, and FUCK Wesker, he died in RE1. Yes, fuck the REmake too.

Code Veronica is the only remake of the series I ever want to see, without wesker running on walls or even existing, without alexia and that faggot and blood lighting on fire.
Just tone it down and change it to an unrelated side story in tune with the original trilogy.

Is there much difference in the japanese ace 3?
I have played the european version, was ok but nothing special.

I always dreamed of ace combat 2 with 2player coop and 1v1 with 2 linked consoles. That whould have been fucking amazing.

I just pray the RE2 remake thats coming flops to oblivion so they won't touch Nemesis with all the Wesker magic matrix bullshit everybody loves so fucking much.

I whould play the original all day despite the poor graphics and voice acting. The original feels MUCH more in line with 2 and 3.

To me the changes + retcon in REmake feels like they were just setting up for more future bullshit with wesker and the other things that really should have been its own game series.

Because the series ended with 3. it was litterally 1 2 and 3. But when you play the REmake, this changes.. Which worries me about the REmake2, they'll probably throw in shit from 4, 5, 6 and 7 to fit their retarded new "ideas" better.

I hope they NEVER touch Resident Evil 3.
