I honestly miss these days more than anything, but also feel good enough that I can always cherish the memories. As a kid in the 90's felt so simple and liberating. I'm glad my parents (and my friends parents) allowed me to experience these moments as I don't think they are aware of how much an impact they had on my life. Nothing is ever going to bring those days back, you can still create them now and again, but the feeling of innocence is gone unfortunately and I think that's what made those nights so damn special.

This is probably meant for people who don't/can't have a room like that or like most /vr/ collectors would have, but do own a VR headset and just want to "experience" or "relive" that for "free".

It's like complaining about VR flying simulators on an aircraft pilot enthusiasts chinese forum where everyone and their friends own jets.

Being gay makes this a non existent problem especially when both of us enjoy the same hobby.

So I popped in some BattleTanx Global Assault last night out of the blue. No reason for that particular game, just felt like it.

Anyway, as I was playing, I was suddenly overcome with a feeling of sadness. Memories of going to friends houses after school, sleepovers, birthdays, just straight up split screen couch gaming.

I cant be the only one who feels this way. I was wondering how you guys deal with the feeling that it will never be like that again? More or less, retro gaming, will just be a solo thing from here on out.. Kinda sucks.
