Lol. This fucking guy.

I know he's trolling since these talking points are more stale than his bag of Doritos, but anyone here who's lost their power-ups in the last level or two of a Compile shooters knows that the fucking bullets and swarms of ships are the obstacles.

Which brings up another cool Compile thing--in Blazing Lazers and Space Megaforce you can avoid having to restart a section upon death if you collect enough of the screen clears you get by shooting the changing number orbs instead of collecting them.

So during all those early bOrInG eAsY levels you should actually be hoarding resources for the final parts of the game. If you do this good enough you can clear the game by good resource management rather than constant routing practice like you do with most arcade shmups.
