fun fact for those of you that got it without the manual (and didn't look it up on-line), especially if you had trouble getting the jumper pak out: Nintendo's recommended removal tool for the jumper pak and expansion pak is a spoon
it really works well too
the back of each pack has a curved surface that's a bitch to manipulate with a screwdriver but responds to a spoon great
